GUIDELINES AND PROTOCOL

At All That Jazz Dance Studio we are pleased to announce our RE-OPENING! For the well-being of our staff, students and families we can assure you that wellness, safety and cleanliness is our top priority as we successfully re-open our doors. We strive for a clean, healthy and safe environment and we expect our students and families to respect, understand and follow the COVID-19 guidelines (subject to change at any time.)

MAINTAINING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT

  • Everyone entering the building must sanitize hands and have their temperature checked using a non-contact thermometer.  Anyone with a temp of 100.0℉ or higher will not be permitted entry.

  • Everyone must wear a mask when entering the building or using common areas (lobby, restroom, etc.)

  • Group class sizes will be limited.

  • Staff will disinfect dance rooms, equipment, surfaces, and entry points before/after each class and private lesson. EPA APPROVED!

  • No fans will be used during group classes however our brand new HVAC and ventilation system will be used. 

  • Stickers, stamps or any kind of giveaways are no longer permitted during or after class.

  • Lost and found items will not be kept in the studio. Anything left behind will be tossed at the end of the night to prevent any cross contamination. 

  • Students are not permitted to bring items from home unless it pertains to their scheduled class. 

  • All personal items must be kept in a bag while in the studio. 

  • Ballet barre’s will not be used if social distancing cannot be maintained. 

  • If  dancewear needs to be purchased one family at a time will be permitted in the studio. 

  • As much as most of us have missed one another, please do not hug or touch one another.

PLEASE STAY HOME IF….

  • Student or anyone in their household has a fever of 100.0F or higher, sore throat, cough, sneezing, stomach/body aches, chest congestion, difficulty breathing, loss of taste or smell, or any other illnesses. 

  • Student has been in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case within 10 days.

  • Has traveled outside of the U.S. or was in a high covid case US state under the current Governor’s Travel Advisory within 14 days.



DETAILED PROCEDURES


DROP OFF

  • Using any of the walkways to the LEFT of the entrance, students will be dropped off at the front door. Follow signs. 

  • Families are NOT permitted to wait in the lobby. A cell phone contact should be provided. 

  • Students ages 3-6 may be escorted into the building by one parent/guardian until class begins.

  • Stand 6 feet apart on a designated spot wearing a mask. 

  • Everyone who enters the building, including staff, will have temperatures checked at arrival using a non-contact thermometer. Anyone with a temperature of 100.0℉ or higher will not be permitted entry. 

  • Everyone who enters the building must sanitize hands upon arrival (sanitizer stations provided)

  • Slip on shoes, such as slides, are highly recommended so that changing into and out of dance shoes can be done quickly and independently.


DURING CLASS

  • Dance floors will be marked providing 6 feet between each students’ designated spot and class formats will be modified and restructured to ensure social distancing. 

  • Once students are in their socially distanced area in class, mask removal is permitted while maintaining social distancing if difficulty breathing occurs or a drink is necessary. Masks must be worn during close contact such as spotting by an instructor.

  • There will be areas in the dance rooms marked and designated 6ft apart for dance bags.

  • NO FOOD will be permitted in the studio, NO EXCEPTIONS! If your child is taking back to back classes, be sure a meal has been consumed prior to class.

  • All classes will be dismissed 5 to 10 minutes prior to scheduled dismissal to allow time to sanitize the dance rooms and to maintain social distancing between classes.   

  • Students who have back to back classes or multiple classes on the same day must wait 6ft apart on the appropriate markings in the lobby. Staff is not responsible for students waiting in between classes.


PICK UP

  • Parents will pick up using the walkway farthest to the RIGHT. Follow signs. 

  • Parents must pick up at entrance 5-10 minutes prior to original scheduled class end time to maintain social distancing between scheduled classes. For the safety of staff, students and families DO NOT BE LATE! 

  • Students and parents must maintain 6ft distance when picking up outside.
